Installation Instructions
- Prepare the FlatLink:
- Remove the FlatLink (or compatible product) from the winch line.
- Use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully remove the rubber barbs from the product.
- Install the Rope Guard:
- Place the FlatLink on a sturdy surface (e.g., a wooden block) with the slot on the Rope Guard facing the rear.
- Insert the four drive rivets into the guard and use a ยผ-inch punch to hammer the rivet posts down until flush with the rivet head.
- Reinstall Rubber Barbs:
- Apply lubricant to the barbs and reinstall the rubber pieces on the opposite side of the guard.
